Explanation
How Recipe Converter works
The recipe converter adjusts a recipe to a different amount by multiplying all ingredients by the same scaling factor. This preserves the ratios of the ingredients to one another, and the recipe works out even in a larger or smaller amount.
You determine the factor either from the ratio of target to original servings, or enter it directly. Units like grams, milliliters or pieces stay unchanged – only the number is converted.
Faktor = Zielportionen ÷ OriginalportionenIn factor mode you enter this value directly (e.g. 2 to double, 0.5 to halve).
neue Menge = Ausgangsmenge × FaktorEach ingredient is multiplied individually by the same factor.
Ingredient amounts can be converted proportionally, but baking and cooking times cannot. Additionally check times, pan size and strongly flavoring ingredients.
