Accessibility at Rechnerpilot
This translation is provided for information only. The German version is authoritative.
Accessibility is part of the development and quality assurance of Rechnerpilot. The goal is to make the calculators, information and navigation as accessible as possible.
Our aim
In its ongoing development, Rechnerpilot follows the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA. Accessibility is taken into account for new and revised features. This does not claim full or formally certified conformance.
What we take into account
In design and development we pay attention to, among other things:
- semantic HTML structures and landmark regions
- keyboard operation, including a skip link to the main content
- visible focus states during keyboard use
- labelled form fields
- sufficient colour contrast
- responsive presentation and use at increased zoom
- a light and a dark display mode
- reduced motion when the operating system signals it (prefers-reduced-motion)
- support for high contrast mode (forced-colors)
Calculators and interactive content
The calculators should be operable with the keyboard. Inputs and results have a semantic structure. Charts and complex presentations can place additional requirements on accessibility.
Known limitations
Despite automated and manual checks, barriers may remain. In particular:
- Generated PDF outputs are currently not tagged or certified as PDF/UA.
- Complex charts or special presentations are not equally usable in every combination of browser and assistive technology.
- Individual content or new features may temporarily not yet be fully accessible.
Report a barrier
If you notice a barrier, please let us know – for example via our “Report an error” form.
