Explanation
How Currency converter works
The currency converter converts an amount into another currency using the daily euro reference rates of the European Central Bank. You choose the source and target currency and enter the amount; the result shows the converted amount, the rate used, as well as the rate date and the source.
Conversion via the euro
Zielbetrag = Betrag ÷ Kurs(Ausgangswährung je Euro) × Kurs(Zielwährung je Euro)All reference rates are given as units per one euro; the conversion therefore always runs via the euro.
The ECB reference rates are neutral mid-market rates for orientation. They do not include any fees and are not a tradable buy or sell rate offered by your bank.
