Quality Standards

This translation is provided for information only. The German version is authoritative.

Accuracy, traceability, and timeliness are the three pillars of every calculator on Rechnerpilot.

Accuracy

Automated tests check typical scenarios, boundary values and error cases. Reference cases compare calculated values with recorded expectations. These checks can detect errors but cannot guarantee completeness of the subject matter.

Traceability

Every calculator shows the calculation path, the formula used, and explains intermediate steps. Source references point to the underlying laws, regulations, or specialist literature.

Timeliness

For time-dependent values, sources, reference periods and validity dates matter. An automatic retrieval or a publication date does not represent personal editorial approval.

Transparency

Limitations and boundaries of a calculator are openly communicated. Where simplifications are made, they are stated in the explanation. Where official data is unavailable, we point this out.
