How Cash and Coin Counter works
The cash and coin counter sums up your euro cash: for each denomination you enter the count, the calculator multiplies it by the face value and adds notes and coins up separately. This is handy for cashing up, emptying the piggy bank or preparing change.
The total is the sum of all partial amounts. Cent amounts are calculated exactly, so that no rounding errors creep in when adding up many small coins.
Summe = Σ (Stückzahl × Nennwert)Each denomination yields count × face value; all partial amounts are added up to the total.
Besides the total, the calculator also reports the subtotals for notes and coins as well as the total number of pieces.
