Parliamentary question on the planned Frühstartrente
The Greens submit a parliamentary question about implementing the planned Frühstartrente.
Under the government draft, state support would start at age six, initially with children born in 2020.
Younger birth cohorts would be included gradually: each year, the cohort turning six in that calendar year would be added.
Older cohorts would receive no state support under the draft. Support from birth is not provided for.
What does this mean in practice?
The parliamentary question is not an adopted legal amendment and does not change current payroll calculations. No calculation impact is evidenced.
